I had the pleasure of going to Superior Stone and Fireplace in Hamden a while back, and the folks that works there are very helpful and knowledgeable. I had checked with other wood stove stores and was not happy with them at all. I had spoken to the owner about what I needed and he showed me the stoves that I might be interested in. I have to say the best part of my experience there was all the friendly folks and the gal that runs the showroom is so helpful. So if any one needs some stone work our a great deal on a wood stove I highly recommend superior stone and fireplace. And when you go I hope you get to meet Tabatha she is awesome and can answer any questions you may have. Thanks again for helping me keep my house warm.

After 2 years using a Regency wood burning insert to heat my 1500 sq. ft home, I have saved enough on my heat bills to not only pay for the unit but purchased a log splitter. Not only is the savings an advantage it is also rewarding to know using a renewable source of energy does less to harm the environment. I'd like to tell you something that you probably already know. If you don't you should. You have a remarkable team of people working for you. I am writing about these people, not in order of importance or performance, but in the sequence they came into our lives. Tabatha, Rob and Cliff. Tabatha was the first to put a face on your organization. When we arrived at Superior Stone and Fireplace we were only scouting out a replacement for our wood burning stove. Tabatha listened to our situation and needs then professionally guided us to a Regency insert stove, something we had never considered. She didn't try to "sell" us, she simply explained the features and benefits. She offered us tea, coffee and incredible chocolate chip cookies. After a short walk on the canal trail we returned and bought the stove. Before we left she scheduled a measurement visit that would determine our exact needs. Rob appeared at our house right on time. he was quick and efficient, taking measurements and photographs and explaining just what we would need to do before installation. When the day arrived, Rob and Cliff were slightly delayed by the cold weather but they went to work with a will and in no time had removed our old stove and put in the Regency, complete with a chimney liner, cap and framework for the fireplace. At this point they were not completely satisfied that the stove was safely seated in the fireplace. They needed to return to Hamden for material but promised to complete the job that day. They were delayed but, as Cliff reminded us a promise is a promise. It wasn't until after supper, but return they did and finished a beautiful job! As delighted as we are with our new stove, we are even more satisfied with the work of your team. They were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. As we said to Cliff it was a pleasure to have them in our home. Please extend to them our gratitude.

I bought my Green Egg primarily to smoke fish, turkey and ribs. Boy does it do a great job. Our Thanksgiving turkey tasted so great we smoked a turkey for Christmas too. It is amazing how well you can control the temperature to smoke "low and slow". The ribs are so tender they fall off the bone. What really surprised me was how well the Egg works for brick oven style pizza. Thanks to the crew at Superior Stone & Fireplace for being so helpful.

Our Regency wood burning fireplace insert is amazing. We are very glad we decided to make this purchase from Superior Stone: You sized it properly for our house. Because of the large fireplace opening, you helped us select a simple but elegant fireplace surround that looks stunning. The installation was seamless.
As a rookie, I appreciated your guidance in using the insert properly. We had two minor issues, a handle stuck and a rod fell. On both occasions Superior Stone was here for an adjustment by the next day. Now that we have used it for a full season, it seems as if we've always had it. We should have found you sooner!
